Daniel at Two Months

Daniel is now two months old! These two months have flown by! I know I need to enjoy every precious moment of this little guy's baby days because they will be gone in the blink of an eye. He smiles a lot, especially at Georgia and Jack. He also loves his swing and will watch anything on TV (he gets this honestly from his sister). He has started cooing much more, especially after he eats. Speaking of eating, he loves to eat! He was spitting up rally bad, so Dr. Wood suggested we thicken his milk with cereal. He just can't get enough of it and it also did the trick for his spit up problems. He can sleep through ANYTHING, which is great, because our house is never quiet. I do think he is already a Mama's boy. His little eyes follow me wherever I go, and he loves to be held. We just love this little guy so much and are so glad he is a part of our family. It is going to be so much fun seeing his personality develop and see what God has planned for his life.

Daniel and Dr. Wood

Daniel went for his two month check-up on Monday. He is growing FAST! He weighed 11 lbs. 6 1/2 oz. (50%) and was 24" (95%). He had gained a little over 2 lbs. and grown 2" in a month! He had to get 5 vaccinations, 4 shots and 1 oral. I must say, he is a tough little guy. He didn't even cry during the first shot. He cried while she gave him the other three and as soon as I picked him up he quit.

He did have an ear infection in one ear. Yuck! He just screamed when Dr. Wood looked in his infected ear. We have only had two ear infections between Georgia and Jack both, so ear infections are a little new to us. Hopefully he won't have a problem with them like so many kids do.

He looks like such a big boy in those pics! I can't believe he's holding his head up so well--and posing too! We're still working on that here! He's precious!
